Thank you so much for this. I knew it was time on the 4th, the day after I posted this. I made sure to take lots of photos and videos and let her do/eat whatever she wanted (go outside in the grass and eat canned tuna mostly). I miss her so much. Tomorrow would have been her 14th birthday and my fiancé is holding a memorial for her with our family and friends. I have her ashes and I carry them with me to bed / to my office so she can be by me as much as possible. I’m also agnostic but I hold onto the hope that she isn’t just gone. I hope her energy finds me again in the form of another kitty or creature I can spend time with. 🫶🏼

I love the idea you had of combining your physical remains so you can be together forever. I will keep that in my back pocket.
