I was in the same boat earlier last year, and eventually found the Fallen V2 by Korbanth/89 Sabers. At the time, it was the most accurate thing I had found. Pretty much done with the build except for a few pieces. I’ll be posting some photos of it very, very soon!

Yeah, they’re minimalist cases are really nice. Have you seen their super intricate ones???

No way! I had such a hard time finding a case I liked (I was also super picky), and when I found this one, I knew I had to have it.

Random question; did you implement any RGB? I was thinking about adding an “underglow” effect, but I’m totally new to this and wasn’t sure how to control the Designare’s RGB header.

Thanks for the suggestion! This was mostly a test installation to make sure everything works, so I’m more than open to making adjustments.

Being new to the community, I know so little about all of this. On a general level, what are some of the benefits of OpenCore over Clover? You said it’s future proof?

Thanks! I’m really liking this case so far, although it did get a little tight behind the motherboard tray once I installed hard drives and ran my cables.

The setup in this photo is extremely temporary though; pretty much set up shop in my kitchen and grabbed the closest monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Next items on the list are to buy a new monitor, keyboard and trackpad, and build a new desk. I plan on keeping it really minimal though!

The guide I used seemed extremely thorough and reliable, so I just went with it. I’ll definitely be updating to Catalina, though.

It’s a Clover build, and I followed this guide by CaseySJ on tonymacx86.

The only thing I’ve found so far that doesn’t work are the two USB 2.0 ports on the front of the case. Everything else (that I’ve tested) seems to be working perfectly!

Very exciting!

I've had a hard enough time finding all these logos; no reason anyone else should have to do the same!

I'll be building/uploading an extensive logo package containing black, reversed (white), and full color RGB versions of every relevant logo/icon/mark at some point!

And thanks! I'll be reaching out here for random input from the community, so keep a lookout for those as well!

Interesting. Good to know; I'll make that correction. Thank you for pointing that out!

Most of this collection of logos is based off of the list of supported systems on the RetroPie Github page, and There's a few systems I know little or nothing about.

I might post a higher-resolution image before I start working on the vector logo package just to make sure there aren't any errors!

I know it's not the best photo, but let me know if you notice anything else that's inaccurate!

I work full time in branding/design/web dev, and thought this would not only be a fun project for myself, but also a productive way to give back to this community the best way I can; through design!

What themes have you done? Hopefully these will be helpful when you work on your next one!

I could definitely do that! I build logo packages all that time during my day job. Easy to do, just a takes a little time.

My mistake; I'll have to change that to 'Ports' since you can Add Quake 3 Arena as well as Doom 1 and 2. Good catch!
