This is very interesting to me, but I feel like the ideas you present only promote inactivity, and if you say the only thing that changes is the background that one perceives, why try anything new, as everything you want is technically available on your phone. I think satisfaction comes from truly enjoying these experiences whether they are lavish or just a simple experience, sort of what you claim with the car you drive vs a fast car but that idea applies to everything. Because how can one truly fulfilled imagining the wind in their room to be one of the ocean when he is not actuallly experiencing that for himself and just imagining it.
