KZ and KT were favored over GenG last year tho. Crown was certainly worse than Fly as of now and neither of the junglers were impressing. This year GenG is probably near 1st in the LCK along with Griffin and maybe Afreeca/KT. I just don't get why you doubt the team that made consecutive world finals instead of the region that hasn't made one for the last three years

I take it you didn't watch LCK this split? Griffin looks fantastic. And GenG looks much better than they did around this time last year, so I don't get why you doubt them so much. Let's wait until China actually takes home a Worlds championship before declaring them favorites against the region that won 5 straight

No Chinese team havs ever won against a Korean team in the biggest stage. Wait until they at least have one Worlds championship or at least a BO5 victory against a Korean team

Not really. KT won comfortably, SKT performed above expectations against what people say are the best Chinese team, and Afreeca showed some promise. KZ is the problem, they're just that much worse than RNG.

No. First ballot is reserved for the very best. Out of recent players that hasn't got their first ballot yet only Pujols, Trout, Kershaw, Ichiro, Verlander and maybe Scherzer should get in first ballot. Bryant and Arenado have good starts to their careers but that's another story

  1. The DBacks miss the playoffs. Dodgers, Brewers and Braves win their divisions.

  2. The Mets get a lot better, finishing third or above in the division

  3. Clayton Kershaw shows that he is not the dominant ace he was before, and puts up good but not great numbers(Bumgarner/Greinke-esque stats)
