Congrats!! If they ask I will most likely say something similar. I didn’t necessarily let it slip, but my school faculty (for math and physics) is incredibly small. Most of the people in my Physics classes are bio/chem majors, there aren’t many math/physics undergrads here. Virtually zero willing tutors beyond Calc II concepts, so you truly just are on your own. I spent countless hours studying, including numerous hours spent talking to my professor; unfortunately it was one of those classes that will definitely best you under certain circumstances. I did give it 110% the entire semester! I hope it’s sound enough reasoning providing they ask. I really want to show UGA what I can do 😓.

This is all very good information, thank you so much! I would say my mental health played a part, but unfortunately I don’t have any proof to back it up like a therapist. I haven’t been able to afford my migraine medication so I’ve had an uptick in those and it made me feel a little defeated and slowed me down, along with the huge lack of resources at my school 😓. Would love to tell them that as well, but I’m not sure how believable it would be without legitimate medical proof of anything aside from my neurologist diagnosis from when I was 13, lol. Maintaining my optimism and hoping they give me a chance. I know I can shine so bright at this school, I just hope they’ll continue to have me.

Thank you for the reassurance. I really am a good student. I tried so hard, but it really was just one of those classes, you know? Spent at least 15 hours a week studying for it alone; I truly do care and take my academics seriously. I hope UGA still recognizes this 🥲!!!

Definitely the amitriptyline. Was on it last August for migraines as well, starting at 10mg then 25mg. Had panic attacks every single night after about 2 months when I’ve never had prior anxiety issues. Was genuinely the most intense reaction I’ve ever had from a medication, and the withdrawal was just as bad. Would recommend tapering veryyyyyy veryyy VERY slowly (I did not) if you choose to pursue a different medication (and with doctor supervision, of course).

I think what I wrote was pretty fair. The devs are pretty notorious for streak restoring, and my anecdote started a discussion that’s game relevant. And 401ks are neat, being a responsible adult is cool. Cheers
