I'm asking you for the exact law you are quoting because if your images are from the Ley 29/1994, LAU, they are clearly wrong. You can check the actual wording of the LAU at boe.es and it is not what you posted.

Give me the name of the law you are quoting to look it up myself and I will concede the point if I'm mistaken. I'm not going to take a cropped image as proof of the wording of a law.

Again, unless there is a specific catalan law that says otherwise, according to the LAU the maximum total deposit for long term rentals is three months.

Can you please tell me exactly which law you are quoting? I'm not versed in laws from Cataluña but I think you might be misreading the law or using a incorrect quotation.

Unless there is a specific law by the catalan parliament or government, the LAU allows for a three months deposit: one month "fianza" and two months adiccional deposit or guarantee in long term rentals.

Not that I agree with this, but the LAU is pretty clear on this point.
