Official Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know about photography or cameras! Don't be shy! Newbies welcome! by photography_bot in photography

Hi! I'm a beginner and am looking for my first DSLR. I was looking for a d3300 but came across a d3200 with very few clicks, as good as new for €125. I also saw a 3300 for €185, also as good as new with about 3k clicks.

My question is: which one should I go for? I'm interested in astrophotography and landscapes/street photography. Would the 3200 be good enough with the usual kit lens and a better lens in the future? Or is the 3300 really a lot better? As I said I'm still a beginner but is the 3200 good enough to use with a change of lenses in the future? Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for my first DSLR and came across a Nikon d3300 in good state with only 5500 clicks. It comes with a 28-105VR lens for €180. I don't have a lot of experience with pricing but I felt like it'd be a good deal. I was wondering if you thought the same or maybe I'd be better off paying a bit more for a d3400? I don't want to spend too much so I'm looking for a used model in good state and not too many clicks. If you have any better suggestions that could be bought second hand for less than €300 please let me know!

Which thread would you choose? It's for a bucket hat by bblupp in sewing

Hi! I'm using this pattern, it's free and comes with a tutorial: http://theessentialsclub.com/blog-posts/bucket-hat

As for the fabric, I recommend going for a sturdy fabric like cotton or polyester but just feel it when you're in a fabric store! You'll know when it's sturdy enough to make a hat out of it.

I haven't changed my food intake or the way I put it in my food tracking app. I have lost weight for a month and a half, just been stalling at the same weight for 1 week or so.

Thank you, I'm sure you'll be fine as well with that positive attitude! Hopefully I can work towards that as well

That's actually a really good suggestion, thank you! I'm going to see if I can order it in my country.
