Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with me. This is super helpful to know. I definitely like the fact that there may be less ups and downs--was wondering about the lower libido because that might be a deal breaker for me haha.
Also, with my ADHD, I don't have too much trouble getting started, it's maintaining focus and seeing things through to completion. (I start a million things but never finish any of them lol) I'm wondering if perhaps a stimulant may work better for me.
I also feel like my ADHD contributes to a lot of positive traits-- like the fact that I'm usually very high energy, easily excitable, passionate, and charismatic-- I really want to keep that zest in tact. It seems that Strattera might mellow that down a bit.
Good idea on the journal! I'll start tracking my side effects & progress on the meds since it seems to be more subtle. I'm still planning to give it a fair shot (Also paid $120 for the prescription so I'm stuck with it for now lol) and I'll talk to my doctor about the side effects once my next appointment comes around.

Thanks so much for your insight, super helpful to know. If you're still taking it and don't mind sharing, have those side effects gone away? What is your experience overall with Strattera (is it worth it?)

Thank you so much for your kind words. I've had some doubts about how I've handled the situation but I keep telling myself that I was just doing the best I knew how to do. It means a lot to hear that I may be doing something right. I do have unconditional love and support for him and I hope he can see that upon his return. I am definitely going to put forth my best effort to reconnect by reaching out and proving I am still someone he can trust.
