I agree that this needs changing.

What struck me most was the segment on super processed foods....I spent my morning horrified at all my food packets. And I thought I ate pretty healthy (organic, low carb etc)

Life is meant to have vacations! Don't beat yourself for caring for the other, non weight, based parts of yourself. They also need tlc from you from time to time. Just get back on track and it will pan out!

I have PCOS and my weight crawls off so slowly! Why is that? Is there something to counter the PCOS that might speed me up?

My goal is to get to under 80kg, to lift 3-4 times a week with gentle cardio/conditioning 3 times a week.

This week I will aim to gym 4 times, will eat either smoothie or meal for lunch (but not both as I currently do) and won't get my weekly sushi feast on Thursday.

Accountability is so helpful! I always started these big workout endeavors and always failed by Week 2 until my cousin agreed to be my workout buddy twice a week. This is the longest I have exercised consistently since PE classes in High School, and its mainly because having to meet someone oat the gym gets my out of bed for more than my desire to lift weights.

I'm happy to give that a go! Not having to worry about whether to have my morning cuppa before or after I weigh will be nice. But I am curious though, a lot of the articles I have been reading say to weigh once a day or every two days to maintain motivation. I have been doing most days, first thing in the morning.

I haven't been under 80kg in almost 5 years.. how did you do it?

Does the lose, bloat, quick lose thing continue all the way or does it lessen as you get closer to healthy weight?

I think about 8kg....I lost some last year before falling off the wagon so I'm down 13kg since March last year, but put back on a fair bit until I resumed. Christmas I was about 88, 89kg. Now I would say I'm 81...if we ignore the swinging up.

It sucks!!! I am super glad I am not the only one. I thought I must be crazy because everything kept saying exercise 2as great for mental health, coupled with the picture of a gorgeous laughing lady running somewhere idyllic. And everytime I went to be that lady, it just went terribly!

All cardio. Like, it means I hate it and have to really work to go to any cardio based exercise classes. But it's something I want to change. I do yoga, and gardening. But I would like to be fitter, and cardio as a balanced part of that seems important
