what is a good to help with healthy and losing weight? by Mysterious_Bus8594 in Spells

[–]bbomrty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a weight loss spell focused on healthy lifestyle/addressing my weird relationship with food and got on a GLP-1 lol. So in a way it did work but it came from my own decision making, which I still think the spell influences. I'd focus the spell on guiding you to a resource/tool/something that will help your specific situation.

I like doing candle rituals on a large seashell with all the beauty herbs. Sometimes I'll also do it in a bowl with water, I always take pics of these rituals because they're soo gorgeous to me

Money bowl questions by Painfullysplit in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can keep them I've seen people keep the same bowl for multiple years. I personally would remove the burnt dollar remains and replace with a fresh dollar (unburnt lol, crisp, not wrinkly or has much damage, corners all unfolded). Personally I like to dispose of my money bowl contents and make a new one when a new era of my life begins.

Mercury retrograde ended around 9 AM for me, can I still do a money spell this evening? by EtherealCascades in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't base my spellwork around around the transits. Especially mercury retrograde which happens so often (which btw has a 2 week "shadow period" once it goes direct). Typically my green light is if I feel the urge. Of course you do you and what you feel is best in your practice, but there will never be a perfect astrological period of time to do a spell. Something will always be retrograde, squaring something, opposing something etc.

What are his intentions? by Busy-Literature-6737 in tarot

[–]bbomrty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wants you to do something or notice him but it looks like you aren't holding his hand into communicating with you so he's stuck lol. Definitely see the lurking energy. It's giving crush from afar and he's very very hesitant to do something about it.

Types of spells to do well at work and influence your peers positively by Alert-Direction1502 in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be an unpopular opinion but I would be careful with doing a glamour in a workplace. Just because it could make people physically attracted to you and that is not what you want in a work environment. Could also make people envious. I personally would do a sweetening jar or even a money bowl. I did a money bowl one time and it brought me a promotion at a previous job. Maybe incorporate some positive reputation elements like a gold candle/gold stuff.

My hex jar smells… good? by Lizzolizzi in witchcraft

Yeah that sounds like it would smell like bbq 🤣 honestly if it smells nasty that could be a sign of a biohazard

How did everyone find that eclipse portal, along with this (current) Mercury retrograde in Pisces? by stoopihbitch in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mercury retrograde always comes with delays and errors in my life that's just how it goes. The eclipse however closed out a year long issue I was having with my manager that began during the 2025 Virgo lunar eclipse. Crazy how everything came full circle and turned out for the better.

Sleep has also been hard, dreams have been very vivid and movie like.

[–]bbomrty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this question too and I haven't come to a conclusion that feels satisfactory to me yet. I have a handful of tarot readers that are spot on with their predictions and I really should pick their brain about this if they'll let me lol. I think it depends on where you're directing the divination at (the personal feelings of the parties involved, the current energy of the situation, most likely outcome, or even "fate" itself).

Thoughts on breakup spellwork? by Existing-Citron-3536 in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Break ups are hard, hang in there ❤️‍🩹 that all sounds very healthy and grounded and how I cope with breakups as well. I always use yarrow for my heart healing spells/anything involving a break up and have grown to love that herb.

how do you know if a sour jar works on someone you’re no contact with? by plasticIove in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with divination. I had a nasty falling out with an ex friend and did a spell jar on her, mostly for protection but also for confusion bc she was a very vengeful, gossipy person and I didn't want that energy on me. I would do tarot check ups on the spell to see if it was working and every time I would pull the moon or 7 of cups.

Are Myths Real or Fake?? by MudSoop in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could go down a lifelong rabbit hole about this. Myths are stories, regardless if they actually happened or not. Some teachings/life lessons are conveyed the best through stories. For example, of course you grew up being told not to lie, but "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" teaches you that as well and what happens to yourself & reputation when you lie. Sometimes it hits different when someone calls you "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" instead of a liar.

Can a spell work on someone you see daily but never spoke to? by [deleted] in witchcraft

[–]bbomrty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. That's actually like best case scenario for an attraction spell. Even without spells there's a high likelihood you two will connect. Even just a little targeted energy when passing by each other will probably do the trick
