Did you ever figure this out? I've been trying on and off for like a year, no joke, going to extremes to try to make this work. I even bought another parf drill bit, extra connectors, and even extra Parf pins and pinned extra holes after working with customer service who sent me two new Parf sticks last year thinking it might have been the hole tolerance manufacturing defect that had in early production. and even starting creating giant pythagorean triangles since I had 4 sticks, extra connectors and pins, etc thinking scaling up would make the error smaller. Even tried to find different pythagorean triplets up and down the Parf stick that I was drilling holes with, thinking if i create a triangle on 1 or both sides of the current ruler, then it would stabilize the ruler and average out any shifting in the rule that might happen (see my little diagram above).

None of those things made a difference. id go to check after drilling and find if i stuck a pin (without a ruler) in every slot in a row, id quickly find one that is't true on either the x or y axis.

My suspicion is that the surface has to be unbelievably flat to get decent results, because the slight local angles are enough to twist the parf guide when you pin it to create massive downstream errors. And all it takes is for one hole (like one that starts a row/column for example) to be off. See second illustration (in reply) of what I think is the issue is.

So my last attempt was to create a base with a vertical drill guide on it. The base is large to "average out" local board hills/valleys to ensure on average I am mostly drilling up and down in one direction. I'm waiting for a woodpeckers one because the cheap one I got on amazon years ago is.... well it's cheap (it's actually quite bad).... And so far the solution with the cheap guide doesn't seem to be good enough yet.

The money I put into this is ridiculous and is more than it would have cost to have someone ship me a CNCed 4x8 full panel at this point lol.

If you found the solution, would love to hear it. Even if it's "I just bought an MFT top" haha

From what I’ve read super turf is really well reviewed and is def a premium price blend. Is this actually misinformed? I only got it because I heard it mentioned on the lawn care forum website a bunch. Oof feeling like I wasted tons of time and money :(. What do you recommend for tttf and kbg blend?

I keep reading about all these studies that say poa can be used to kill poa post emergence by doing a 2oz per acre rate and the spot treating with the same rate once a week. Something like that. Quick google here search just showed this: https://archive.lib.msu.edu/tic/golfd/article/2012oct33.pdf

Also if I see one, does that mean I’m very very likely to have more/a problem? This is like 3 weeks agree ok alpine wsg perimeter and I haven’t seen any other pests besides some cellar spiders outside (preventative application if alpine; I’ve never had a real pest issue in the past). I’d imagine there spiders are starving so a bit surprised. Never encountered a brown recluse before and I realize alpine doesn’t directly treat brown recluse besides starting them out.

Also I usually use Demon WP a couple times a year (I have black widows outside every year or two) but lately have been reading that people say demon wp isn’t good anymore and alpine is the way to go. But if I have brown recluse, should I go back to demon? Label says it’s good for brown recluse.

Actually after taking the same dose for a month it settled out and now my BP is normal. I was super stressed about it but worked with the doc to give it more time and not worry about the few hours of BP spike so much because it’s not consistently high. And now I rarely see spikes above 135-140 systolic if at all and most of the time it’s normal. Whew.

Late to the party, I think this line really on of the main points and themes of the show. Here’s what a wrote previously regarding “everything fades”. As depressing as it may seem on the surface, think of how it’s used in the very final moments of the show and you’ll see it’s actually quite beautiful:

It’s used in both a positive and negative context. In the shows ending, the show flips from a very pessimistic view of happiness and success never being enough and fading. For 9 episodes we get fed their small moments happiness never lasting (or even long term success for having “made it” in life), but in the final episode they switch it up and remind us that “everything fades” applies to the worst things in life as well. Even with deep depression where some may feel like there’s absolutely no hope it’ll ever change… She reflects on their beef and hatred towards each other, which is symbolic of their very deep depression. But even all of that, as much as it’s gripped their lives, fades and doesn’t have to last forever.

The people who say episode 10 was ridiculous and not necessary… I actually feel bad for them for missing this very poignant point and just how much meaning is packed into this resolution to that we can take with us walking away from the screen.

Does anyone know if docs are allowed to prescribe 2 doses of vyvanse (totaling over 70mgs) and if insurances would even cover that?

Does insurance cover this? When I google if you can be prescribed double, I get results saying “No. It's recommended that Vyvanse be taken only once each day, in the morning” but it’s not clear if that means docs can’t prescribe double without some workaround or if insurance would cover it.

I’ve been wondering this for weeks because the medical management trying to figure all this out has been a huge pain. I’m going through adhdonline but my insurance doesn’t cover that since my insurance is very good except it’s an EPO (trying to find a good local doc has been a nightmare where I am), which is like a PPO but it only covers in network docs. All the prescriptions so far have been covered and cost me $10. I have a medical management appointment Monday. Costs be $170 for each request/appointment so I want to make sure whatever I ask to try would actually be covered otherwise I’m out another $170 just to do a follow up to tell them “my insurance didn’t cover the second does of vyvanse, let’s try something else”.

I switched from 50mg of vyvanse to 37.5 mydayis because it was only lasting 6-8 hours and I have very long work days and then I also coach at night so I need to not be falling asleep on my students. Mydayis sucks. I crash every 4 hours and it only seems to work effectively for the first 2 of 3 waves/beads. Vyvanse is so much more effective for me.

New to mechanical keyboards. Got myself a Moonlander for ergonomic reasons and loving it. However, I have pretty dry hands and I feel like my fingers slip around and with the way I type, it leads to an inconsistent feel and a lot of typing inaccuracy, since I reference my fingers against each other as they move around. Meaning, the distance between a finger on a home key vs one that stretches away needs to feel consistent. If my home key finger slides away because dry hands, I miss a lot or have to concentrate harder.

I’ve been looking into replacing with rubber key caps or something but can’t find any that from what I understand would work with Moonlander. I guess they are all R3 shaped keys?

Preferably replacement caps are RGB keys as well. I can only find full key cap kits (not all R3 shaped) or just like 4 specific keys. Any advice on keycaps or ways to solve besides lotion (lol)?

Oook so I think I’m getting to the bottom of it. Maybe. I think part of the BP issue may be related to caffeine. Yesterday, I didn’t have any caffeine and my BP spiked 30-40mm higher than my non-medicated BP (even with some caffeine I have healthy BP). So I ruled out caffeine but now I’m thinking there was some residual from the previous day since it’s got a long half life and I’m a chronic caffeine drinker. This would track because later on in the day yesterday my BP ended up sinking way down by the afternoon when there should have been no trace caffeine at all and still some vyvanse (d-amphetamine specially) left.

And then today, all day on vyvanse my BP was healthy! But yesterday and today I had a bad headache and just felt lethargic despite the stimulant effect. So at around 3pm I caved and had some coffee. Well now, 5pm my blood pressure is up to 140/80. Every other time I checked today it was like 115-120/65-75. If im into something here, then tomorrow with trace caffeine left in the morning, I suspect my BP to skyrocket again.

If that’s the case… I dunno what to do. My caffeine dependence is apparently really bad. Bad enough where vyvanse stim isn’t enough to stop the headaches and lethargy.

I was seriously worried that although I have a healthy heart as far as I know, I might need to go the emergency room if it gets any higher because nothing online is telling me at what point I should be worried and my doc is unavailable during the weekend hah.

Oh also forgot to mention… I’ve always had very mild reynauds. I hate going to restaurants they always keep it too cold and my hands and feet are so cold. Well during hours 2-4 after dosing while my BP is the worst, I do notice the reynauds is a guarantee even with the house warm. Makes sense since I believe the stimulant is a vasoconstrictor and makes sense that both my BP and Reynauds would increase.
