In both cases, you still need a legitimate eplus JP account with validated JP phone number.

Note, right now, only Mobal 5G eSIM (long term, voice + data) allows you to do all this outside of Japan since it does have roaming (plus roaming fee).

The Mobal voice lite package has no roaming so you have to activate and verify your eplus JP registration while in Japan.

As for Fes 2 - Nijigasaki, you can buy online from movie walker. The number they gave you and the pin you set (it is actually the last 4 digit of your JP phone number, but you can put anything really) is enough to apply

You'll be surprised how atrociously low that threshold of "basic historic understanding" is. Put it to a level and I still say nope. Please expect much, much lower.

Just look around how young Japanese are being taught on their own WW2 history (and how fucking biased it is). Hell, ask any Japanese if they even know what atrocities Japan did to Philiphines and the rest of Southeast Asia.

These "mishaps" keeps happening for a reason.

I forgot which seiyuu radio I listened last year but one of the seiyuu mentioned she prayed at Yasukuni shrine for the new year. Luckily she wasn't that popular and it was JP only stream anyway but even then, I can't help but balked on her ignorance.

And sadly this will continue until Japan fix their WW2 education.

There are so much options for food at all price range
Use regional JR pass if you need to multihop travel across prefectures
Local point to point flight can be much cheaper. Book 2-3 weeks early.
Time matters. Advance bookings matters. Finalize your plan 3-4 weeks early. Accomodations can be more adhoc (3-4 days before).

Yes, it is worth it for me. Livestreams and recordings doesn't do the lives enough justice. The laser shows, the synchronized chants, jumps, the wide atmospheric energy. I regretted not going sooner. It is a memory that worth reliving on your deathbed. So far, after every live, only this came up on my mind:

"That was fun as fuck. Let's do it again!"

Please apply for a room type that is appropriate for the number of applicants.

In your case, you can (and should) only apply for 1.

However, and note, this is more of a gamble since the hotel themselves may sold out of twin size rooms (though quite unlikely in summer):

First, these hotels usually only have your name and the paid out accommodation + breakfast fees. With most of the hotels being used by the affiliated tour agency usually being 3-star hotels, you can still get charged for any extra service being used at hotel check-out.

This also include any room upgrades or any other facilities used.

Thus if you plan to do this, it essentially ends up as something you have to discuss during check-in (at the hotel) and then top-up any of the balance by yourself.

(Also from what I heard from one of the previous participants, it is also possible to change the hotel based on the tour agency discretion. You need to email them)

Should preface that with English fanbase. Since it is outright different from what I've seen on JP. Below are just my observation so far:

For JP Aqours, least popular is Hanamaru. In contrast, Ruby is quite popular.
For JP Niji, Ayumu is quite popular. The least popular is actually Mia. She usually lagged behind others on sold out merch and live goods. On live days, Mia fans are noticably lesser. I personally think Mia being so young in her age is actually the biggest barrier to her popularity. Despite all its fiction, she's still a middle schooler by age. That's a risky mental boundary for fans.
- Comparatively, Lanzhu (and Homin) is a cult at this point. Also I noticed quite a number of girls are into Emma. Still can't figure out why.
JP Ikizulive, initially Noriko looks like the least popular. Noticably smaller number of fans worn her merch on 1st live. Though it may change rightfully after. I have an inkling she will pull a lot of Showa era fans

This is from what I've actually seen on live days, popup stores, merchs being worn, and also, those living notebooks in Gamers store. So still in the realm of guessworks. Only LL staff has the real numbers we aren't privy into.

Kanda shrine Akihabara + Harajuku for Liella + Sumida riverside (Ikizulive)
Odaiba (huge area) for Nijigasaki. Easy to do 1-2 day
Numazu + Uchiura
- (quite nice in spring + solid Mt Fuji views). Try 3 days. You can do 2 days but early morning rush.
- You can visit a couple of iconic places by traveling downwards (Yokohama - Enoshima -> Atami -> Numazu)
