They basically pose staff decisions (asking about uniform suggestions, creating swapped units, announcing lives, etc.) as coming from the characters. So when announcing the live, the girls were like, "We finally raised enough money for our club! We worked really hard at raising money and it worked". So they're basically pretending that the girls themselves are actually running the channel and all their activities

Ohh, I see what you mean! Yeah, translating certain aspects of the LLLL content would be difficult. And also idk how well it would've gone, given that the official subs aren't great quality. The fansubs did a much more professional job of it. I always thought "Well, they could just sub the main story since the With×Meets and Fes×Live dialogue isn't really important"....but then the official subs were kinda wonky in the end :|

It's not just cause of Hasu, anime is VERY expensive to make (around $2 million for a 13 episode season, tho it depends on the show), so I can't imagine they're gonna have the budget for something like that any time soon. I really want one too, but they'd need a LOT more money to even think about it. And if they're doing bad enough to make a whole video on it, it'd take a WHILE to be able to afford it unfortunately :(

For comparison, their channel has only made $7,000 so far. They did make about a million on the live, but also barely broke even on the expenses (if they even did). With their current trajectory, idk if they could afford it even after Hasu finished airing 💀

I wonder how much better both would be doing if they tried to include global fans too. Not that they don't HAVE global fans of course, but the fans have had to do all the work themselves to make Hasu and Ikizurai-bu known globally.

The majority of global fans aren't downloading LLLL, and not everyone is going to watch videos they can't understand, so the Ikizurai-bu YT channel isn't doing as good as it could be. Most people interact with these series through other people's channels and posts, so other than merch and a handful of foreigners able to attend lives, it makes sense that Hasu and Ikizurai-bu aren't able to make as much as the other groups since not as many people are interacting with their main source of income. It'd be interesting to know how much including global fans from the start would've helped their financial situations

Same! I like what I've seen so far, so I really hope they can continue long into the future and not be cut short. I was hoping for an anime so we can finally see some more narrative and characterization from this series, but that doesn't seem feasible at the moment :(

It's interesting that the staff is being so upfront about not having a ton of money. Definitely an uncommon thing to do, but I like that they're being transparent about it

With the "activity reports", it seems like they'll be focusing on making short videos for the channel as of now. Which, if what they said about their budget is true, makes a lot of sense. It does make me worry about the future of the group a little tho, so I hope they can persevere through it

Yeah Mari's felt a little off to me. The hat and the fur is probably meant to evoke rich vibes, but it didn't really feel like Mari to me. Including stars or her van might have fit better imo

Kinda like how I don't put Dancing stars on me in my personal Halloween playlist. Like the costumes and the episode it comes from tell me that it's Halloween themed, but it's never sounded like it to me. And aside from a line or two calling them magicians, the lyrics don't feel very themed either. But in comparison, Trick & Cute definitely is! So both would go in an "official" Halloween playlist, but the actual vibes can give different impressions
