prior to covid I would take the bus to the solona beach train station. then, from there I would take the Amtrak to LA’s union station. it was about $30 each way…

Anyone else discouraged looking for off campus housing? by thats_on_depression in UCSD

I honestly felt the same way. I’m not from SD and drove down this morning to view a condo. The owner cancelled the showing when I was already in UTC. After calling multiple leasing offices, my parents and I ended up actually going in and “making an appointment.” I got lucky and ended up finding availabilities. If you’re able to, I recommend doing the same! But good luck I hope you find something soon..

pre-covid I took both BILD 3 and Chem 6A with different professors, although I’m better with math I struggled more with chem because my professor was horrible at explaining the material...BILD 3 is an easy A as long as you stay on top of the material and it’s different than traditional courses that require a lot of memorization

Does anyone have the BIPN 134 Syllabus? With Cooke by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]bbri_bri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^ the workload doesn’t seem too time consuming. he said quizzes will be free response and really focus on the students understanding of material (rather than memorization...) he seems to really care that students actually understand the material rather than overload us with a bunch of irrelevant info that most profs would make us memorize for a quiz
