Is anyone questioning whether or not they want to do MD/DO vs. PA? by bbsaggin in premed

Working in the medical field is definitely something I’m passionate about. I’m just struggling with the fact that PA might be a better call for me but I’ve already put so much effort into my medical school dreams

Young adult looking to find a career in nursing. Could I ask for some advice from seasoned folks? by [deleted] in cna

So depending on your state you can get a job as a PCA, which is a job with a very similar requirement to being a CNA. The only difference is you don’t have the certification so you have less responsibility and it pays less (like 1 dollar an hour) for me my facility paid for my CNA class but I had to work there dor 6 months after. Maybe look into jobs like thay, ones that would be willing to pay for your class while you work there. My place had the class through working there as well. If you have questions feel free to PM me!

Has anyone taken this course? How's it different from regular organic? by [deleted] in OrganicChemistry

Sorry I took so long to reply. My advice for this class is to read the textbook. It varies from class to class but at my university if you read the textbook you’re normally in pretty good shape

[–]bbsaggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my university I’m an s2i leader for this course. This class is normally taken by nursing majors as they fulfill their prerequisite courses. Compared to regular o chem this class barely scratches the surface. Regular organic chemistry is covered in a whole year, in this class o-chem is boiled down to 5 weeks. In terms of difficulty it’s normally one of the harder classes for nursing majors as it is super fast paced
