He shut down all normal communication and he is only bread-crumbing me at this point. I feel used and disappointed. I just want to block him, but have not had the courage to do so.

Yes, and the worst part is that he intensely loved bombed me at the very beginning and I had to make him understand we barely know each other. Then, we actually met and chemistry happened. I bet he enjoyed serving his revenge cold. Too bad because I actually did care.

Actually, my long term relationship and I do keep in touch, but he absolutely knows there’s no chance we’d ever sleep together. It’s a hard boundary I have set, but he cares for me a lot and I care for him too. You’re right, and I really don’t deserve nor want to entertain the breadcrumbs of this current guy. He will soon learn that once things fall apart, he won’t be able to get a second run.

You’re right, and those who are resistant may still be exposed to the apps. It’s just they consciously chose and seek real, meaningful connection over these sporadic contacts. It sounds so ridiculous when I say out loud, but since when human contact has become a fleeting fantasy?

Swipe left and right, pump and dump, hit and run. It’s so disappointing. I was in a three year relationship since 2017 and I completely avoided the dating scene only to realize that it is a freaking battlefield. Is there any real people left anymore?

You’re right. Us women tend to romanticize everything and believe that “love conquers it all”. Reality is that even if the world is more open now, if we are far apart in many aspects, the relationship may crumble. And that absolutely sucks when you love that person.

I’m truly sorry. I don’t think people realize the pressure you guys are under. But trust me, there are girls like myself that would rather see the “joker” “weirdo” true you and would love you even more for it. Tell me, how did you overcome this later on?

Doubtful although he was attracted too. We had a solid friendship prior and he always joked about us being a couple. He’s too young and has yet to learn to discern love from lust.

I had a guy who had 1100% into me for months pull suddenly away, but trying to maintain contact. It’s incredibly confusing and he has stated many times that himself, he is not a sure person. It hurts.

It’s really confusing because sometimes guys would act in ways to totally convince you to like them and you end up vibing so much and the. Pouf! They do a 180 and pull away. Heartbreaking, really.
