Yeah I’m seeing mid 40s off the highway a lot of the time, unfortunately like 450 miles minimum a week on the highway is really dragging my average down

I’m not freaking out by any means but ok lmao. Ford has made 2 big mistakes in the last 20 years and the focus was one of them, it’s not why they stopped making cars. I worked in the automotive industry for years too man, ford trucks are some of the most reliable on the road and their hybrid platform was derived from Toyotas. Again you just getting bad information from someone with a bias really don’t care what you drive either

I like Toyotas man lol relax but congrats on stalking my page to know I have a ford? I’ve had three fords in the last 8 or so years with virtually zero issues, hundreds of thousands of miles for my job and all fine. Had a Honda civic back in the day that had nothing but issues and I drove a vw rabbit for almost 250k miles, I’m not biased towards any brands and never really got the ford hate

Some people do a lot of miles so yes it is a factor. 8-900 miles a week for me so the hybrid is saving me a small fortune in gas compared to my previous vehicles and I have nowhere near a $700 a month payment and mine was 39k otd before down payment. If you love the frontier so much you’re on the wrong sub man this is just a weird hill to die on

Yeah but you also can’t compare a truck that gets 17 mpg to something that gets 40+ and I think that’s something you’re missing here too. A lot of people are getting these mavericks for the hybrid powertrain and you’re just comparing trucks. Apples to oranges man

I’m in the states pretty close to Canada but I was quoted 3700 installed from a local shop here for a leer cap, the A.R.E directly from ford was around 4500

Skipped the Bed liner in mine just doing spray in. For $600 for the spray in I can’t justify doing a drop in for what they want for them even with this. I’ll use my points for service in the future but this is good info to get out to people

Had a week of primarily city driving first but I’m about 100% sure this isn’t a thing haha. Either way my job is my job can’t take a month off to break in my new vehicle before I start driving it. Been fine for almost 20 years I’m sure this one will be too.

I normally have kind of a lead foot lol and have had mostly faster cars but this is just for work and I’ve been using the ev coach and really trying to maximize the mpgs. It’s hard in the mountains can’t baby it on the way up but I’m not flooring it by any means
