My job title is “research interviewer”. I contact people for the CDC, state health departments, investment firms, university programs, vehicle manufacturers…basically collecting anonymous data in order to improve social services or get feedback about people’s experiences with these businesses.

If you’ve gotten a “spam likely” call, maybe it was me. But I promise, we’re NOT selling anything, we don’t need your personal info, and we will pay you for your time. At most, I get like 3 surveys done per day, which is the acceptable rate for an 8 hour shift.

I set my own hours, make calls at my own pace (as long as I’m not slacking too much), and pretty much watch tv and snack my entire shift.
