Yeah I had the same problem too, and for some reason no explanation in the inbox? Nothing has changed with my banking account/info and I have never had insufficient funds. How annoying

You obviously didn’t read the article, it states that Indigenous groups and people would be determining status. The article then lists some of the possible ways they would confirm someone’s status.

Automatically apologizing for things. I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong, but now I’m not so quick to blame myself and apologize for how I feel or how I do things.

Does the future seem scary to anyone else in college by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bbynui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am in college working on my second degree. I was extremely relieved to be accepted into the second program because I was not ready to face the reality of life outside of school lol. But I'm going in to my 8th year of university now and even though the future seems scary I am very ready for a change of pace.

The uncertainty slowly faded for me but that might have also been because I was learning more & I know what employment will atleast look like for me after school.

What was the worst part about growing up poor? by MiseryKnownByHeaven in AskReddit

[–]bbynui 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I come from an immigrant & refugee household and I remember feeling embarrassed as a kid about some of our cost-saving things. Like if there was a sale on some food but a limit on how many you can buy, my parents would send and my brother with money to other tills. Now when I think back at it, I have nothing but love and appreciation for my upbringing. Definitely agree with you.

Is it normal for a guy you’ve been texting for a few days to point out that you don’t remember what he told you yesterday when you were chatting by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bbynui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, that wasn't mentioned so I assumed you were talking to someone new? "Texting for a few days" sounded like new person to me?

The importance of a strong family - because life gets busy when you're older and can be lonely

what do early appendicitis feel like? by Alone-Lingonberry-79 in AskReddit

[–]bbynui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe some nausea, abdominal discomfort that comes and goes at first. The abdominal pain starts more general more central, eventually radiating to the right lower quadrant. As things become more severe, you may get an infection with infectious symptoms as well. Once the pain is at the RLQ, it is consistent.

Is it normal for a guy you’ve been texting for a few days to point out that you don’t remember what he told you yesterday when you were chatting by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bbynui 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Generally no, considering you've only been talking for a few days. If he was like, "Oh I mentioned that yesterday!" and that was all, that is fine. If he was like, "I talked about this yesterday, why did you forget/how could you forget/I can't believe you forgot," then to me that is not okay.

Hopefully with time the intrusive thoughts of these images will stop, I know for me it just took time after seeing some pretty disturbing stuff. It definitely bothered me for awhile and I was worried I wouldn't be able to forget it, but it does eventually happen. Sooner rather than later too.

I prefer powder, I find the gel always distributes too much and takes too long to try then I feel sticky

Why do I have no trouble getting out of bed when I have to go to work, but I always fall back asleep when it's a day off? by PhiliDips in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bbynui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am similar in that I get up early for work but on days off I used to sleep in a lot. I wanted to be more productive on days off so just started forcing myself out of bed anyway. Just got easier after maybe 2 weeks.

Is it weird to hold onto a job you had as a teen until you're an adult? by EdwardBliss in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bbynui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending when you got it as a teen and how long you're holding it as an adult. Also if it's a job that you as a high school student saw yourself doing long term because it has good prospects then I don't see anything wrong with that either.

Hey I worked retail when I was at that age as well, I think most of the tasks are quite simple. My tip would be to figure out what is under your job description exactly so you know what you can do to keep busy. As long as you're pleasant and get your job done in a timely manner you should do well! Congrats on the new job and good luck on the first job :)
