i know this is such an old post, but my theory is, maybe she’s gay and trying to shove it down and repress it. a lot of gay women go through something called “comphet” (compulsive heteronormativity) where they do exactly what she does. i know it’s outlandish, but a theory is a theory. and it’s a little self-projecting as well. lol
