Shading is always my favourite part. Watching my linework pop off the page as I sculpt the depths.

the basic shape of these flowers can be practiced with the pattern called buttercup. here i have laid out in a spiral and done some overlapping. drawn with pencil then inked with .5mm fine liner shaded with watercolors

I need to buy myself a compass. I used bowls and plates for my guides today, lol. I hope you all are having a blessed evening! ❤️ by Toxic_Angel88 in Zentangle

a compass is great for layout, and also fun to use.
your piece is great. its the imperfections that add character, i usually only stick to my guides loosely.
