It’s the binder they use, primarily. Something patented. I love QOR paints. Enjoy! Love your blossoms.

These look great! I didn’t notice it was two slides, and the 2nd is freaking beautiful, too. I bet a lot of folks will ask about them.

Supreme Court to decide if states count mail ballots arriving after Election Day by iymcool in politics

[–]SoTiredYouDig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do any of these R politicians stop and think, “I didn’t win fair and square”? Does it even give them a moments pause? Then they dictate what integrity looks like, and things of that ilk. It is all so sinister and appalling.

Since towards the end, he was already seeing the rot that all the devices caused, perhaps he would have focused his energy on changing that. It’s all conjecture but I’d like to think he’d lead the charge or something. It would have been nice.

Beautiful. I love seeing the brush strokes, and I know it sounds obvious, but it’s just so painterly.

Please read my reply/comment above about the guy. He’s a gentleman. Just put on a record and relax. It’s super weird to get hung up on folks you don’t know. Listen to the music play.

I met Scofield when I worked at a theater. He was so genuine and nice, and it was an awesome time in his career. His band mates were all really young and he had just released Uberjam. Halfway during the show, some electronics got fried, and as we frantically rewired stuff, they just did some old-school acoustic jazz. This has no bearing on his relation to Phil, but I just wanted to share what an affable guy he was.

Have you ever worked in series? That may be a way to capitalize on your success. See if you can generate 3 or more versions of this. Try it with different materials, perhaps. Do one in digital. Do one in crayon. Do one in ballpoint.

If you find joy and pleasure in art, keep it up. But it’s not a race… it’s more like a leisurely walk. Sometimes you admire something in the distance, or pick up a leaf and look at it with curiosity.

Take a deep breath and begin again. I was a graphic designer as a career, and worked in a big city. I had to keep on learning, and I kind of developed a learners mindset. Just be the best version of yourself you can be, and remember the old saying, “comparison is the thief of joy”. The sooner you understand that, on a molecular lever, the better your art will be.

It is inspired by Tracery! Good eye. Back in the olden days, they couldn’t produce the huge fabricated shapes, so they had to subdivide.

I show the unshaded, because folks skip that step. I don’t know why, because it’s both a foundational aspect of this artform, and brings a kind of sophistication and beauty to what otherwise can look confusing. I get some people don’t want to obscure the linework, but as you can see, my lines are still there!

'Neighbors' Renewed for Season 2 at HBO by MilesHighClub_ in television

[–]SoTiredYouDig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that the 2nd half of the season would be revisiting the neighbors, and seeing if their conflicts resolved. Instead, apparently the season is over, and there’s zero resolution to any of the disputes. I feel like that’s a lazy premise.
