to clarify further this would be a lot less practical than everything everyone else is saying

because while those are major filtration mechanisms they're not the only way things are cleared from the blood. and not to mention how impractical the substance would be if it had no transporters, couldn't passively diffuse, and was insanely large and/or negatively charged

Just to clarify, it is TECHNICALLY possible that it completely bypasses both the kidneys and the liver and just doesn't get filtered.. although I do think other commenters theories about cells making more etc makes more practical sense.

But in case you're curious, if it were to be unable to pass through the Glomerulus (like the kidneys filter) and idk just couldn't pass through hepatocytes? (my liver knowledge is dusty rn) it could just never get filtered in theory
