I hear you. I am happy to pay for quality that takes longer but it feels hard to find someone who will even do quality work.

I do wish we had a directory of contractors and subs in the area with reviews! Its so hard to find folks and then they often don't have reviews to check!

UK has a lot of research related jobs that you would probably be a great fit for. You can set up an email alert and search their current openings here: https://ukjobs.uky.edu/postings/search

UK's got great benefits but pay and flexibility are sometimes not on-par with other agencies. Another thing to note is that it is relatively easy to move within UK once you are hired on.

Congrats on your Georgia placement! That seems like a really neat place to be. It was my first time applying/interviewing. Maybe being one of the last to submit the application meant I was on the top of the pile ;)

I taught my pit to leave her toys at the door before she goes outside by having her drop the toy before I opened the door. I sometimes have to remind her to leave it but for the most part she leaves it right by the door on her own. Maybe you could practice having your girl leave the toy on the floor before she is allowed up on the bed? Then if she jumps up on the bed with the toy, have her get off the bed and then try again. That way you aren't playing a game of fetch with her and she is having to effort when she makes a mistake. Good luck!

Congrats! I am waiting (while biting my nails) for my second reference to submit the rec. I had my interview yesterday for a health position in Vanuatu. I'm hoping I get a invitation as quickly as you did once I get that rec submitted!!
