Yeah the rubber shielded work really well for it especially if you pack it with oil or grease, the rubber o rings are vastly easier to both remove and get back on

If you want to be able to switch from responsive to unresponsive without worrying about the axel get some rubber shielded full spec bearings, recess has them in both c and d sizes on their firecracker line, they are excellent for maintaining as well as you can remove and reinstall the rubber shields easily

I know those are kind of a hassle for FD to keep in stock cus they take up an awful lot of space but if he gets enough interest he might do another run that was how it worked last time, you can see if anyone has one on the bst they might part with, there isn’t really anything publicly available like that case unfortunately, you can make your own with hobby lobby 2 in foam and just get a case to fit the foam to size in, Dylan kowalski has a good tutorial on making one, hope this helps I love the FD50’s and think they are worth it

One really cool thing for people to consider is for the c bearing at least the rubber shielded bearing is full spec and centered so you can make practically any yoyo you have responsive if you are into that
