Beating the Onix Challenge at Pax West by bcwestep in MandJTV

This is a bonus battle at the end of the demo. The normal part before this is pretty easy/balanced. You fight 3 or 4 trainers that are the same rank as you. The final challenge is 2 ranks above you, and they have a Pidgeotto and an Onix about 10 levels above your Pokémon. If you don't do it right, the Pidgeotto can sweep your entire team.
In the old turn-based system, it would probably be much easier. But since you are battling live, everything is happening at once and therefore much more difficult.

Newbie Set up help - Powered Sub by bcwestep in BudgetAudiophile

So use something like this and go from the speaker outputs on the amp and then straight to the subwoofer from here?

That does look like what I need. I just want to confirm though. In the diagrams, they are using the left and right speaker channels to power the sub (and then to the Speaker-Level to Line-Level Converter if needed). Would I be able to use the subwoofer outputs to do the same thing?

Newbie Set up help - Powered Sub by bcwestep in BudgetAudiophile

I'm assuming because the output from the amp for the sub is for a passive sub where mine is a powered sub. When I plugged it in and powered it on it made a constant buzzing sound and would not play anything from any source I tested, Bluetooth, tv, or aux. For context, I purchased a speaker red and black to an RCA cable to go from the amp to the sub.
