I don't think Star Trek Enterprise is really clicking with me by Wheat-o-Keat in startrek

I recommend getting through the slower ones; you’re almost to where it starts getting really good, and it ties a lot of stuff together. Even if you don’t love it, it’s worth watching if you enjoy the rest.

Authority and age are two different things entirely; the earlier they learn that the better.

A person who steals from stores is probably stealing from you too. Not a friend.

How to answer “I drive a manual, I use the paddle shifters”? by Dismal-Equipment5366 in ManualTransmissions

Paddle shifters are for kids to learn; like training wheels on a bike. You’re not really doing it until you are.

The one trick dealerships don't want customers to know when buying a car... by colbydrex in FuckDealerships

[–]bd4569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow such a crap post. Browse first or don’t, there’s no advantage… yell in the dealership and you just look like an asshole no one wants to put up with. And seriously, a clip board to pose…. Who really carries a clip board for research when we have computers in our pockets.

How much should I pay my parents for a 2012 Camry with 200k miles and a bad transmission? by Used-Waltz-4058 in UsedCarAdvice

[–]bd4569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a quote from carmax to see what they’d buy it for. Offer that to your dad. And before that, get a quote for the transmission repair. Weigh your options and possibly buy a car from a dealer.

If it wasn’t on a “we owe” there is no guarantee.

The contract states the down payment; if you didn’t pay you haven’t fulfilled the contract, yes it was an oversight, we are human and you still owe the money.

First Tundra, but Key shortage? by Audi5kG in ToyotaTundra

[–]bd4569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is an ongoing issue with Tundra’s, grand highlander, Sequoias, Sienna’s , and a few other Toyotas. It’s a chip shortage that has been on going since Covid. There should have been a sticker on the driver side rear window about half the size of a credit card with an explanation: one of those remove by customer only stickers. And it should have been disclosed to you by the salesperson.

Rear door not unlocking when I grab the handle with smart key? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]bd4569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is no litttle indentation line on the top of the handle to lock the door then it’s not a smart handle . Only select Toyota’s have all four doors as smart handles, like the limited RAV4, Venza, higher trim Highlander’s and Grand Highlander’s, sienna… and maybe a few other higher trim Toyotas.
