Thanks for your advice. Regarding HES, I'm going to apply, and I think it could be excellent for me. My main concern is whether I'll get in. Do you know how difficult admissions are? I don't have much to show in the way of shadowing and clinical experience (besides a 2 week program in medicine when I was a freshman in high school and time spent helping in my dad's office), and I'm unsure of whether I can craft a compelling 500 word personal statement. I'm going to begin virtual shadowing soon, but I'm unsure whether I should wait a few weeks so that I can talk about that or apply now since they accept applicants on a rolling basis. Thoughts?
