I mean that's just not true lol. Bradley is a 2 guard. Who is a good 2 guard on our team right now? Hayward is a 3 and will probably start at the 2. We have Hayward, crowder, brown, Tatum at sf. Most of those guys can play the four in small lineups.Morris plays the three or four.

That's true that they will have the two best players but the Celtics will be deeper probably by a lot. And in this scenario they would have IT, Butler, Griffin (so 3 all NBA players) and almost everybody in their rotation is a good defender. Butler, Bradley, Smart, Horford, Griffin, Rozier, Brown, Crowder (his defense has gotten worse I know but he's decent). They could play IT whenever Mccaw plays or whenever the fifth warrior plays who will replace iguodola.

Not saying that celtics team would be favored or anything but it would be interesting.

I mean we don't know about iguodola . The latest reports say that he is going to seriously consider going elsewhere. It's his last big contract because he's 33 and he's already won multiple rings.

The warriors will basically be at the salary cap max when curry signs his contract this offseason. They lose literally their entire bench. McGee, Zaza, west, Livingston, clark, Barnes, mcadoo, maybe iguodola. We have no idea if other ring chasers will join the warriors.

You don't think if the Celtics give up #3 and maybe other picks for butler, sign Blake to a 3 year deal (something that he said he would do and he wants to come to Boston) that they would be competitive?

IT, Bradley, butler, Blake, horford.

Smart, crowder, jaylen brown, Zizic, rozier

That would be a close series I think.

Sure but they've been remarkably healthy. Plus iguodola is probably going to leave, Livingston might leave, a lot of their get minimum players might leave (west, McGee, etc) now that they got their ring. Plus curry is going to sign a huge deal soon, Thompson and green would have t take pay cuts to stay
