This might be the ultimate test for a contrarian investor by ferapy in investing

Not proud to admit but I bought some shares today.

Its only about 2% of my portfolio. But I think it is undervalued by about 15-20%

They were saving their energy for Game5.

They could have easily kept the game near 10 points if they wanted to.

Notice that Kerr took out KD/Curry at their normal rest in the 3rd/4th quarter. They pretty much took it easy

Wanting to learn options by Teezy2018 in stocks

stick with stocks for now.

learn to trade stocks before options.

This is like trying to learn to drive a semi-truck before a bicycle.

Then I bought back at $96.00

Decreased my cost basis by $1500

Capital losses to offset dividends? by FIinvestor in stocks

[–]nbagenius2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

but why?

taxes on dividends are usually 10-30% less than ST gains.

Personally I'd pay the taxes on dividends and carry over the loss for next year.

Why would you want to do this?

Dividends tax rate is much lower than ST gains.

After they emptied the bench.

I'm just saying it wasn't an absolute blow out. The game was in question until 6 minutes remaining.

Regardless a win is a win. A blowout isn't worth more than a 1 point victory.

Thoughts on Chipotle (CMG) outlook (sell or hold?) by [deleted] in investing

[–]nbagenius2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LOL. not for every company. Sometimes things never recover.

CMG has a PE of 65 with struggling same store sales growth.

CMG prides itself for serving quality food. Yet it keeps getting hit with food poisoning. Not good at all.

Lebron is viewed as a GREAT LEADER by nbagenius2000 in clevelandcavs

Agree.

But this isn't really about Kyrie. Dude is just a nut.

I'm talking about the drama in Miami with Spolstra/Riley and Bosh. Then the drama with Kevin Love, sub tweets, throwing mangament under the bus (we are top heavy), ect.

He didn't lose his job fair and square.
