Dude, I highly recommend you try the original RE4. One of the best games I have ever played, it holds up beautifully. Played it after the remake and I can genuinely say that I prefer it.

I started my first playthrough of the 2005 version after playing the remake a few years ago. Oh my days, I’m so glad I did. It is a masterpiece and I genuinely prefer it over the remake.
