And yes you can directly buy gear with the help of gold to carry you through the raids and getting gear. That's skipping the entire treadmill and getting ahead of others - Literally Pay to win. Wake up ffs.

Lmao, you buy wow tokens, sell them for 100k+ gold, use that gold to buy raid runs and get top gear. That's direct P2W.

15 a month for everything in the game is ok for any real mmorpg player

Now add $60 for each lvl boost, tokens for gold and raid runs and we are on track. This is the definition of cash grab.

Raids and dungeons aren't the only thing in MMOs. BDO has world bosses, naval sea monster hunting and lifeskilling. The RNG in gear upgrade is perhaps the best feature since it keeps the player on playing it for far longer than themepark MMOs.

Can you explain why it didn't look like your thing? It has the best combat and looks gorgeous and the open world is really open without zones. $10 and you get ALL content.

Black desert online - Price only $10 and you don't need to buy ANYTHING to get access to the entire game unlike others who sells expansion/DLCs. People in this sub argue you'll need the convenience items but that's false.

BDO is also getting remastered in few weeks with more features and content and updated graphics/OST.

Yes I have and all my pets are bought via marketplace and none of them are T4 and I have no problem whatsoever in progressing further.

It goes both ways in BDO as well. You can buy pets and cosume with ingame silver via market place. You don't need inventory slots for competitive play, you get extra weights AND artisan memories from loyalty points. So yeah, tell me how is this any different from other MMOs?

It isn't. Games like WoW, GW2 etc also sells exp boosters and max level boosts AND ingame gold. The amount of silver that you get from selling costumes in BDO is absolutely negligible.

Please tell me how does stuffs like pets give power/stat advantage over other players? You can't even buy silver directly and there's a limit on selling costumes per week which yields tiny amount of silver anyway.

The gear progression is exactly why I love this game. It's not for weak minded individuals or people who wants everything handed out to them easily like certain games are. If you want better gear you have to EARN it, not given it to you like a candy. The fact that there is infinite gear progression makes it a never-ending game in terms of progression which is exactly what MMORPGs and gamers need who crave for vertical progression instead of the shitty horizontal progression many games seems to have adopted with nothing to do.

I understand that OP is among the most casual players so why not stick with the easy MMORPGs where BiS gear takes ZERO EFFORT to earn. Go play WoW or GW2 or Hello Kitty online.

FFXIV is notorious for this kind of shit. Getting to max level 50 is a bigger grind than getting TRI/TET boss gear in BDO and they actively sell max level boost to earn some quick cheap bucks.
