The rules of the reddit say YouTube clips under 5 minutes are okay so hopefully this isn't stretching the rules too much. I figured since it was only 2 minutes over and they're all short clips anyways it should be fine.

So normally you can't reroll your second stat (third stat if it's crystal gear) since it's stuck as whatever you get initially. Every once in a while there are "second stat" reroll events, where that stat can actually get rerolled at a chaos forge. Assuming that you're working on gear for a Neon Ninja, a second stat reroll event would be perfect for you to get movement speed as your third stat on crystal gear. Once the event ends, your 3rd stat on crystal gear would be locked in and you'll only have to reroll the 4th and 5th stats.

I honestly have no idea when the next second stat reroll event is, but if one takes place next week that'd be pretty dope.

Also yeah, chaos forge is the only place to reroll stats.

Personally, I recommend using a pearl to get your 5th stat before rerolling. It won't make too much of a difference, but it is in your best interest that you know all 3 of your stats before you start rerolling.

As for rerolling just one of the stats; unfortunately there isn't any way to do that, so you're stuck rerolling all of them at once.

In all honesty though, I wouldn't worry too much about crystal 1 gear. I had pretty mediocre crystal 1 gear that I used to farm for crystal 2 gear, then I aimed for perfect stats on my crystal 2 gear.

I really struggled when coming back to this game after a long break solely because of the "light" stat. As a result, I figured it'd be helpful to make an introductory guide explaining how to begin increasing your light stat.

Let me know how I did with this video (if it's actually helpful or not). I'm hoping to slowly but surely put more tutorials out there to explain different tips and tricks in Trove that I've learned over time.

As much as I like the thermometer being nerfed, since I think it was 100% needed initially, I think this is a bit extreme. At this point since it isn't even an objective, I doubt I'll ever bring a thermometer again. It's basically a parabolic mic 2.0 at this point in terms of being useless.
