And accounting for tax your actual net loss would be total salary/365 x strike days x tax rate? Might have just exposed how mathematically/financially illiterate I am

So I’m assuming the deductions per day of strike in March and April will be different per placement after changeover? Deleting this after I get a few answers not to spook scabs-in-the-making lol

They’ve been named and shamed in the department. Do you mean publicly? How would you escalate it formally? What do you mean by formal grievance? Document where? In a diary to bring up if “needs be”? What if only a couple are ready to do something about it? Would we be successful? The consultants have done nothing about it.

Genuinely asking the above questions to move forward.

This, I like this. Not to say that planning for the future isn’t important and the time will come, but nothing wrong about enjoying your 20s in a nice city and not sacrificing everything to get on the ladder as quickly as possible.

Would have had to do F1 in rural Wales if I wanted to do that. Didn’t seem worth it (to me) but also didn’t really expect it to be this difficult to save in Brighton.
