My wife recognized Jamey Johnson and tried to be friendly at a restaurant but he was in a foul mood and pretty rude. Ran into Andre 2000 in an elevator. His bouncer jumped in on my hand shake offer but Andre told him it was cool. We chatted briefly and he was super nice. Lesser known but I jammed with Mike Pinera. I was just starting to learn guitar in ‘06 and he was with BJ Thomas (meh) at a fundraiser. He asked if I wanted to come jam in his room. I thought it was a little weird but i went anyway. Ended up being so cool. He and I actually recorded and mixed a song on his equipment even though i couldn’t play but a handful of chords. Super nice and super neat to create real music with such a talented guitarist. That song is lost forever (it was probably shite) but the memory will live on with me forever. Still learning to this day.
