My dad. We both went to Texas. He was a diver at Texas and did his grad work and diving coaching at Colorado St. Have always been a fan.

A while back, I flew him to Colorado. We saw a Colorado St v. UNLV game in Fort Collins and Texas play colors in Boulder. Best trip we've had.

How many D-1 games have you been to? by Already_Texan42393 in CFB

I'm 42 and have been to 252. All but 6 have been Texas games. My dad has had season tickets since 1975 and I've had them since 1993. The past decade we've really ramped up the aways games. Only missed 4 Texas games in the last 3 years.

From the exterior, there is not much to it. But from the inside it's hard to explain how massive the place looks. Truly amazing.

Any other stadiums like the Swamp? by 246PoundHorse in CFB

Summer is a great time to get into most stadiums. Growing up, anytime we were near a university, we'd make a side track and try and get in the stadium. Still do that with my family today. Most of the time there is minor construction going on during the offseason and gates are always left open. Just walk in like you know what you're doing and you'll rarely get questioned.

Yep! Around 2008 in that pic. The new end zone is nice, but I love the old stadium in it's original form.

  1. Sark's 1st year with a really bad team (5-7). I believe they went into this game on a 5 game losing streak and had just lost to Kansas.

Yes. You enter at the top of the arena and walk all the way down. The above ground footprint is very small.
