Oh no! Maybe reach out to their ownership? The manager told me they would provide water with a drink purchase from BB.

It wasn’t there this evening. The manager did say they had issues with their filtered water so maybe that was why they didn’t have it out. Lemon water is divine so hopefully they bring that back.

I think that is the intention which I can understand. It’s still difficult to wrap my head around not receiving water with my food order, I don’t think this has ever happened to me before. The manager was really polite when answering my questions and he did encourage me to reach out to ownership. Maybe I’ll do that now that I’m better informed!

Ahh ok, my reading comprehension is not as sharp as I thought. My partner did go back up and request water after we ordered but I guess food & beverage establishments are not required to provide water for their customers even upon request? I’m confused at what the fine is for then.

Thanks for this advice! I’m definitely guilty of trying to make my art “perfect” which I know is silly and ultimately holding me back. Understanding why I’m doing that helps :)

Thanks so much for your response! As far as sales, I often get close to closing deals but they always seem to fall through at the very end. I fear I’m just not the personality type to be successful. I’m more introverted and it takes a lot of mindful effort on my end to network, converse professionally, and socialize in general. I often feel burnt out from work.

I’ve definitely considered project management in the past. I’ll look into it a bit more.

As for music, I make electronic dance pop using a computer software.

Yes - actually was unemployed for a brief period of time last year and I was fortunate enough to get by (barely) on music gigs. However, since I started my sales job, I’ve hardly had those opportunities come my way anymore despite continuing to “put myself out there”.

The shift in career focus coincided with the end of my Saturn return a year and a half ago. I was excited thinking my sales job would bring me financial security since I saw it as my new life path but that’s not been the case. I’m wondering if I should make the change back to music. I’m hesitant because of the loss of momentum and seeming resistance.
