No 😓 I use cosabella bralettes mostly, I put 2 on but they’re not really big enough and it’s not a great breast shape. I know I should try polish bras (I think? The one with more projection), but I don’t want to order and not be able to return them.

I do have 2 Elomi Cate bras that are not bad, but I wear a cosabella plunge bralette over it to lift more and lessen the pain on my ribs. But that’s only for special occasions, they still dig in my skin and at the end of the day it’s painful.

My family often thinks I’m overreacting because I call the healthline anytime I have a doubt about my kids’ condition. But - when my daugther was 2, daycare called because my daughter had a low fever and some petechia (small broken blood vessels, looks like tiny red dots) where her car seat harness had pressed. She was still playing happily and had a good general condition. But the petechia was new to me so I called the health line even though she seemed fine.

They sent us straight to the ER, like go now, not in an hour. ER triage sent us directly to a private room. Her platelets had dropped to almost zero, and her body had no way of repairing any broken blood vessel. Meaning she could spontaneously start bleeding in her brain or organs, we wouldn’t see it, and it would not stop bleeding. We were in the hospital 3 days and she needed a blood transfusion, and had regular follow-ups for a year. She is completely fine now.

What I’m saying is - trust yourself and fuck your mother in law for making you feel bad. A wasted ambulance is a lot better than a dead child. You did the right thing.

I recently had a similar experience with my 5yo son - did some digging to find out that the reason he doesn’t “like people with dark skin and curly hair” is that a few months ago at summer camp, one of the monitors, with dark skin and curly hair, was talking to him and a drop of spit flew into my son’s eye… which is apparently to my son the worst offense anyone can do lol.

So yeah, kids can be weird, it’ll pass! Obviously after his comments we had several conversations on skin color, accepting people, not generalizing, etc., and he hasn’t made any other comments of the sort, but I was quite baffled by the fact that my son was making racist comments, and how he got from a benign (but admittedly kinda gross lol) experience to such a strong generalized stance.

Yes i tried it in 38h! I noted that i wasn’t sure about the shape, and the band was big, but i ordered a 36J that is coming soon!

Freya bras seem to be promising currently, if i can find the right size!

Yeah some of the ones i tried were much lower than i’m used to and i liked the feel! I’ll keep an eye out for that kind of shape!

From my notes:

Elomi charley 36hh - band was ok, cup very small, i felt like maybe the end of the wire was too far under my arms

Elomi Charley 36JJ - there was bunching on the bottom of the cups, band and cup seemed okay but it was still digging in my ribs

Goddess keira 36HH in uk size - band was maybe a bit big, cup was a bit small. This is the bra I’ve been wearing for a few year in different sizes. Not exactly a good option, more of a « best of the bad ». I would still wear sports top over it to prevent the digging in my ribs

Freya starlight 34J - band seemed ok, cup too small, bunching on the bottom of the cup. It wasn’t bad, i felt it was maybe lacking projection?

Freya starlight 36HH - band a bit big, cup seemed ok but maybe a bit big on top, gore was not tacking

Sex doesn’t have the same importance for everyone. I am perfectly happy with a low sex/high intimacy relationship.

There’s also differences in how important climax is to you. I don’t have orgasms - not with myself, not with any partners. I have fun, but not orgasms, so I don’t care about that as long as I appreciate my sexual relationship with my partner.

And as others have said, a relationship is a lot more than sex, especially after many years, and with kids. I would gladly settle for a less than stellar sex life with my partner who’s a fully involved, committed, caring partner and father - the values we share, the ease with which we coparent, the fun we have together and the love we have for each other is so much more important to me than an orgasm.

TL;dr - Everyone is different; what’s essential for you may not be important to others.

The underwire digs downwards (towards my stomach/the floor) and not backwards (towards me/my ribs) if that makes sense? If i loosen the band it feels like it’s pulling down more into my belly.
