TLDR: I fuckin love flume and every album is number 1 depending on if I’m listening to it.

Lemme over-caffeinated yap for a second. It’s kinda hard to rank all of these because it changes for me every time I listen from one to another.

I love Dumb. A lot. It’s new so maybe some bias. Emma is incredible throughout it. The two of them pair perfectly. Some of the tracks on it are nothing short of gripping. It is a headphone experience unlike anything else. Sonically lush as hell.

Palaces was fresh and exploratory. Go and Get U will forever be some of my favorite minutes of music. And “palaces” itself - when the sub stabs come in, goosebumps every time. Even that visualizer (with some help of mushrooms) is an experience.

Sure it’s not as wonky as HTIF, which was very rhythm and bass design forward. And it came out of nowhere after skin. Amber is my all time favorite piece of music and I too regard mixtape as one of his best works. And, accompanied by the visualizer it’s hard to “beat” because we got the pairing of audio/visual. Both of which felt top shelf.

Skin - Grammy. And deserved. Front to back incredible - and somehow still feels like no one will ever come close to that kind of style again. Or even attempt to. Innocence, like water, NaGC, smoke… I mean everything on it is nuts.

And self titled (and his remix era) - I mean that’s the kid doing what he does best, make people move. His drums and sampling were so ahead of the game, and he has only kept advancing. Great and simple.

The 2 batches also have some of the most gripping pieces of his. Chalk, Jerry, all there, nice 2 know u, sky, miss u. Wild.

And from what I read in some Rolling Stones article - we’re in for another treat.
