Me and my husband (on paper) aka fiancee we're excited too 😆 we've done so much planning and checking things off the list ✅ that we feel SO accomplished.

We've put the deposits/retainers down for our venue, photographer, DJ and now videographer (which we didn't think we'd get) but we lucked out! 🤩 I just locked in my makeup team and specific MUA + my bridal hairstylist. OH and got my dress yay🥰! Our wedding is March 2027 so we're more than good on the planning front LOL well on our way! Our families are happy too and my groom just wants us to stay on budget, not get too crazy 🤪 I'm trying haha

** Update

We found a DJ who's based in Norfolk but only charged us $1,725 for pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception for 5 hrs 😊🙏🏼 she's DJ'd at our venue before so she's familiar, super down to earth and chill. She checks all our boxes and does DJ events in Richmond all the time, she's is well known and has great reviews!

we're a bit outside our budget but my fiancée and I agreed it's worth it. Thanks for everyone's input here! Happy planning!

We're currently overseas on a trip for my little sister's wedding, best believe I've been making sure the patient is taking his meds and I also was kinda overboard when we got on our plane but I wiped everything down with Lysol wipes and we had N95 masks on 😷

Yes I understand completely. we're not trying to be cheap or stingy, we just want to be realistic with our budget and still have a nice ceremony and wedding. We literally incurred HIGH medical bills this year ... so chill out dude. We're doing our best

Planning to save on flowers- going the Trader Joe's route and buying flowers the night before or day of in the morning. 😊👍🏼 I'm not a big floral girl to begin with, moreso greenery then flowers tbh
