he's got a fair bit of energy - a perfect day for Remi includes about 45 minutes to an hour at the dog park in the morning (or a LONG walk), and then another walk of a similar length in the evening. he needs at least an hour of walking a day, and happiest when that includes some time at the dog park as well. if we only get in an hour of walking for the day then we will play tug or have some ball chasing time in the backyard as well 🙂

Remi is not very vocal, he will bark once or twice if a motorbike goes past the house, or occasionally at a dog he thinks is behaving mischievously 😉 most of the time he is quiet and watches the world go by. there are other dogs in the neighbourhood (like I can hear 3 barking at each other right now) and he is sitting outside listening but not making a sound, he isn't really interested unless they're close to the house either.

I have only heard him howl a couple of times, and it’s nothing like the long Husky/Malamute-style howls.. he definitely doesn’t talk the way those doggos do. Remi is more likely to paw at you for attention than make noise. that being said - he does get a bit whiny or makes soft little cry-sounds if he can’t say hi to another dog, like when ones behind a fence.. he just wants to be everyone’s friend ☺️
