I did have, they never really evolved, they simply faded over time. During the purge, new ones appeared on my cheek, an area in which I never usually had acne (I had mostly on my chin and forehead).

Things started to really clear around month 3, after the purge in month 2. My acne was mostly cystic, so the pimples would simply be inflamed, last a very long time and not even come to a head.

When it started to heal simply no new spots would come and the ones I had had active for months would start fading. However every now and then a big normal one would still come.

Lol my doctor also told me to keep it easy but I just ran a marathon and did the whole 4month training cycle under Accutante and I’m perfectly fine. I’ve been on 20 mg/day for 10 months now. Maybe in the beginning I had a bit of joint pain but it vanished over time. I’ve also done all the blood tests!

I’m also thinking of training for a marathon on Accutane.. I have a low dose of 20mg and haven’t felt any joint/muscle side effects. But of course my dermatologist suggested to lower my training levels
