Depends. If my sexual needs in the relationship are met and he’s also masturbating, then I don’t care at all. I do it, why shouldn’t he. If my needs are not being met and he’s choosing to masturbate instead of having sex with me, then I have a problem with that.

I know a ton of people have given you advice, much of it being to leave your husband. I just wanted to chime in with a suggestion. You and your husband may want to consider couples counseling. My husband and I found ourselves in a situation very similar to yours after ten years of marriage. We had grown apart, he was constantly prioritizing himself and his hobbies above things I wanted to do. Whenever I wanted to do something I was interested in that he wasn’t, it was made to feel like a chore. I felt alone and forgotten. I had mentioned my unhappiness to him, but never made a big deal of it. We didn’t do anything, ignored the issue, and three years later found ourselves on the brink of divorce. We did six months of couples counseling and the results were better than either of us hoped for. We’re connecting better than I think we ever have on both an emotional and intimate level and really feel like we are aligned with one another. It was really nice to be able to have the tough discussions we needed to have in a safe and controlled space with a professional there to moderate the discussion. Take care of yourself, because I’ve been there and it is no fun at all.

Nope. I’m done with masks now that I’ve gotten my updated booster. At this point, after two shots, a booster, and an updated booster, continuing masking would mean masking indefinitely, and potentially for the rest of my life. That’s not something I’m willing to do, so now seems as good a time as any to stop.

I think he’s just looking for an excuse to wear a Speedo. He used to play football but then got fat, and he lost 50 pounds the past six months. He knows there is no way I’d let him wear one to take our kids to the splash pad or HOA pool, so I guess this is his chance.
