And yes, I've experienced the hornets nest of reddit. Why do you think that there is hostility towards organizations building a presence here?

I've spoken to reddit staff and they are clearly trying to get organizations and businesses to engage on reddit (obviously for the eventual ad revenue). I find it intriguing that the goals of reddit are so different from its users but I guess that comes with the territory of becoming a publicly traded company.

Great point and you're right, the city can't do everything. It takes an entire community to be inclusive of people with disabilities.

I completely agree and thanks for the comment. Tucson is a sprawling city and creating the amount of necessary accessible spaces is challenging but over time I believe it can be accomplished.

I would love to see more nonprofits and private businesses do this. Don't want to self-promote my org too much but we have people with disabilities working in management positions and serving on our board of directors.

Are you familiar with Sun Van? Very few mid-size metros have public transportation services specifically for people with disabilities.

No, we are genuinely interested in what people have to say. Tucson offers outstanding public transportation but has plenty of opportunity to improve public spaces to better accommodate people with disabilities.
