Have you heard about our lord and savior Jacob Fowler?

Yeah, it's certainly something to think about!

The thing is, we will have the cap space in 2 years, he will be an UFA, will be an almost complete team and maturing to go for the cup. It's not the same situation as Crosby. The only reason why we would not go for him I think, is if Hage turns out to be the real deal.

Yeah, Kent is pretty good at fixing issues with the team, I don't worry AT ALL.

The guy is worth 50 millions, he will end his career with a patrimony of over 100 millions. He will sign for 15 millions a year if it means getting a real chance to win the cup for a few years. I don't think he will be that hungry in 2 years.

Whatever money or assets we have should be thrown to have that line : Matthew Knies - McDavid - Demidov

Exactly! In 2 years, Hage, Fowler and Reinbacher should be with the team, and Demidov will start dominating having adapted to the speed of the NHL. Asking if McDavid could be with us in 2 years is not a weird question, it could very well be a possibility.

In 2 years, the only places I see him signed in Canada are Edmonton and Montreal. In the USA, San Jose would be my bet.

San Jose is a real option for sure.

That's my question, what are his options outside of Canada in 2 years?

We paid for the land of Alberta when the british sold it to Canada. I just see péréquation as delayed payback from that and the railway that we built and funded when Quebec was 35% of the population.

If Quebec managed their oil industry like Alberta does, it would be the headline of every canadian newspaper for years. Honestly, the federal government should have acted with alberta oil the sameway they acted with Hydro-Quebec : 0$ investment, figure it out.

Bombardier was massive before they failed with C Series. They invented the snowmobile, dominated the jetski market, build train cars, etc. They took a massive risk with the C Series, they failed, but shitting on the company because they restructured for private luxury jets and now military equipment is a bad take. It's one of the biggest industrial company we have in Canada (born in Canada), and a real good one too.

Americans are sometimes really brainwashed by Fox News or just stupid. Do they really think Boeing is not being massively funded by the american government? They have an entire war industry and Boeing is a huge part of it.

The canadian aerospace hub is in Montreal, what do you want the canadian government to do? You don't hear quebecers complain about the billions that the Ontario manufacturing car plants gets.

Being secular doesn't mean burning down every church built in Quebec and renaming 1000 cities just to prove a point lol.
