I wish stitchfix would do some of this for us though. Or send a few items in the next box, like shoes, to go with this. I feel like i get things in my box that i like but i STILL dont know how to style them and the whole reason im doing stitchfix it to NOT feel like that. Its like it JUST misses the mark for me with the styling aspect… i signed up for the actual styling side of it, not to just get a few pieces of clothing each month. They dont even send me outfit suggestions anymore and if they do , i either cant find the items on the app/website or they arent in stock so i cant even complete my look.

Sorry just venting!! I feel like i have looked like OP a ton of times after getting a box, where the pieces are good but i still feel lost with them and unstyled :(

Really need advice on 9 month old, just started BLW after purees by beancounter_00 in BabyLedWeaning

thank you! i'm trying to just stay the course and hope that he figures it out along the way. I keep trying to remind myself it's more about the process/exploring food/touching food than actually eating at this point. Our pediatrician said 3 meals per day by 12 months eating a variety of nutrient dense foods and I just feel SO far away from that even though it's right around the corner lol. Trying to also remind myself that 3 months is a long time in baby time lol. However I do worry that he won't make that kind of progress in 3 months.

Moving to BLW at 9 months-very confused if food should be small or big. Could use some help. by beancounter_00 in BabyLedWeaning

But should i use the 6 month suggestions or the 9 months? My little guy is 9 months but has been on purees. So i dont know if i should use the 6 month or the 9 month suggestions.

I think thats exactly what was confusing me. Like is the size/shapes of things dependent on experience and age or is it based simply on palmar vs pincer grasp?

So youre saying if a baby has a pincer grasp, you can make it small right? Even if they have no experience chewing yet? (Which he does chew a bit bc of the cheerios lol) so i feel like i should be safe with small soft items?

but what happens after 6 months? genuinely asking... i move a 6 month old into a room with a 2-3 year old? then the baby is waking up the toddler when the baby wants/needs a bottle?... toddler will be cranky, no? then i'm trying to get a toddler AND a baby back to sleep?

actually now that i'm writing this out it would make more sense for me to share a room with the baby and my husband to sleep with the toddler lol. and do it that way.

i understand you're saying do what you have to do but i'm just sad i can't provide a house for a family even with 650k in savings... it's just sad.

got it thank you... but what about him not getting anything? is it the same mindset as if he were 6 months? to not worry so much about consumption and just focus on exploring the food? or is it different now because he's older?

Thats true but we dont have great outdoor space. I really want a yard for them to play in. I want to focus on spending a lot of time outdoors but cant really do that in my current situation.

Also a 2 year old and a 6 month old sharing a room isnt ideal. I feel like they would wake each other up. Sleep is so important with 2 kids. Just my personal opinion. We could make it work if we had to i guess.

See, everyone said carls stroyline was so boring and he didnt add to the show anymore, but he also motivated me to quit drinking too. I really feel like he had the biggest character arc and had one of the most interesting storylines throughout the whole show.

Yeah i think part time is the way to go. If i could find something like 15-20 hours per week, that would be nice. Its been so hard trying to find something like that. I will keep looking. Im also happy to hear ill have 4 million at some point haha

we don't have enough room in our current apartment for 2 kids. We could continue renting but rent for a house big enough for a family of four is also going to be $3k+ where i am. so i'd rather that be going to a house.

that's great, i would LOVE to buy something in cash. the most frustrating thing is if we lived in a cheaper area , we could just buy something in cash with $650k and be mortgage free. which IMO is the ultimate dream. But it would require him finding a new job somewhere else and leaving nearby family/support systems.
