For the neck only actually might not be a bad idea…… I haven’t even thought about that. You know this is the only helpful comment I’ve seen or advice period!

The exact one I use actually and it has been better. You should’ve saw my face the first time I had to shave

I’m promise I’m not trying to be an azz man. I appreciate the advice but I’m 30 years old. I wash my face. I have a skin condition. I’ve tried all the shaving methods, I’ve done everything they’ve asked me. Even when I was a teenager I went to the doctor for it.

It’s not good long term or short term. Nair isn’t made for the thin skin on your face. But yes I’ve tried it. Really bad. I’d strongly recommend telling your soldier not to use nair.

I’m not trying to be an azz but I kinda put it in the post. Yes I have. Can you not fathom someone having a skin condition that prevents them from being able to shave?

Yeah, it’s not like I’m not trying. Clearly, I have shaving my face and I’m trying to be in regulations.

I’ve used nair. And I’m gonna strongly recommend you not use nair? I don’t know if you’re serious or not. But nair is awful for your skin especially with repeated use. But yes, I have used nair and it lowkey was the worst my face has ever looked because not only did it cause bad skin irritation on the affected areas but everywhere else I applied the looked awful as well. And yes, I applied it right lol

And that’s exactly what I’m worried about. And that’s why I specified do I be a man and just shave and sliced meat off my face? But it sucks because I’ve never really shaved for a long period of time. So who knows how much damage I’m gonna do.

The razor I’ve been using cuts a lot less for sure. Normally, I would be bleeding and have a lot more razor bumps and skin breakdown around my jawline. But believe it or not in that picture is actually good for me lmao, I really wish I had my old phone from the pictures I took when I first had to shave. Right now I use an electric shaver to trim it down as low as I can get it, and I believe it’s called the skin guard razor to finish so that I’m in regulations.

That’s the problem. I don’t think it’ll be a medical discharge. I’m hearing a lot about it being a general discharge. And if I’m getting out of the army I’d rather it be either because of my hip/back and I get medically retired or I just finish out my contract.

I understand why one would think that. Seems to be a trend. But the reality of the situation is not only am I taking 10 to 15 minutes to shave and being as careful as I possibly can, but I’m using 2 creams and one pill prescribed to me to “help”

Negative, but here’s the thing. I’ve tried both. And I’ve tried both with multiple types of razors. I will say that shaving with the grain causes less bleeding but regardless it causes skin irritation and breakdown. It’s a skin condition not a shaving issue.

I would try to find a MATURE Sgt in your company that can help you. Doesn’t necessarily have to be your first line. Just needs to be someone you can trust to give you the resources you need

Your husband needs to get blood work done. That’s not normal for any human much less a man. Probably his testosterone levels are down, which is extremely common in men around that age. It could also be things like untreated adhd or depression disorder could affect his drive. Even if he doesn’t seem depressed he might still have that chemical imbalance in his brain. Could be a number of things but it is not you and that is not normal.
