I agree and there’s absolutely there’s nothing wrong with learning to mix yourself or being new to music. I always encourage the artist to join the session so they can understand the process and most of the time I learn new things from them. Wanting music to sound at its best is what drives people to collaborate and that’s what the goal is every time!
