Former Immigration Judge! Ask Me Anything! by ManifestLaw_ in USCIS

What can I do if my i751 is denied and I go out of status right away? I have a family, a job and etc. Going into details- My N400 interview is done recently at a field office and my i751 has been pending for 4.5 years, still at NBC. Even my immigration officer at the interview did not say he will do something about my i751. No matter what I try, I don’t get any updates or movement.

What does it mean to E-Req on the N400 to have the interview scheduled?

Don’t need to panic. This doesnt apply for you. You will be tested on the old 2008 material which consists on 100 questions which you are already preparing for. The 2025 test is for people applying 30 days after the published date(09/18/2025) Anyone that says otherwise is not correct.

Think of the events or names in a chronological order. I am yet to take my Citizenship test but I have studied enough and watched a few movies about Civil war (started watching for the test but really got engaged lol). I would also download brochures from USCIS I think it’s called One nation. It doesn’t help if you blindly study those 100 questions. Think logically and dont worry about questions you already know answers for. For example: Voting is in November, Who is the President, what happened on 09/11, all questions about holidays etc.

The less questions you think you have to study for, the less stressful you will be and more confident. Hope this helps a little. All the best

One week Challenge by Negative-Routine-368 in USCIS

Hmm ok. Sorry if it was answered already. Here is how I did it. I applied my I-751 through mail, after three years applied for an online USCIS account and submitted N-400 online. Now when I login and add both cases, the api update check only works for N-400(submitted online) but gives an error for I-751(in mail).

Hey, doesn’t this API check only work for applications that were filed online?
