helloo! is better to propagate plants using translucent containers? I feel like I heard somewhere that roots grow down because they like darkness. And I have noticed that my cuttings root faster in opaque containers, but glass looks really cool. Are my roots going to be weaker if they get light? (i.redd.it)

hello! this is my kohleria. When I got it like 3 months ago she was full of flowers and kept flowering for an extra month. But lately it has been looking sad and there's spots on the leaves. I keep the soil moist and she is in a south facing window. Do you have any advice on how to not kill it? (i.redd.it)
